What is the Current State of IT in the UK?

With the ups and downs of IT recruitment generally, the topsy turvey nature of IT in banking, the tap versus slide to answer your smartphone, the SUN behind The Cloud – or not at all – and Bill Gates no longer the richest man in the world, some of us are wondering where IT has all gone to. Certainly it seems like it’s a no man’s land right now, let alone A Man’s World like some industry blogs are spouting.

So how about we try applying some science to the situation and getting some answers straight from the horse’s mouth? Starting with the state of the play here in the UK.
