London IT Contractor Alliance Meetups (LITCAM)
These nights are for any IT contractor interested to meet
other IT contractors to discuss the state of the market or
individual needs and interests for contract work in London or
the UK.
A regular night is held every second Thursday of the month in
a reserved area of a London pub, however 7C Alliance is
happy to have special nights where other members of the IT
contracting community are invited along, such as IT contract
recruiters, training companies or management companies.

7C Alliance Offices and Meeting Spaces
Due to high cost of renting office space in London and
insufficient numbers to justify it as yet, we do not yet operate
a fixed office presence that contractors can come to -
however we now have membership with the Institute of
Directors, and so have access to using their premises at
116 Pall Mall for small and exclusive meetings, as well as a
de facto "Club House" located downstairs area of one of
West London's popular fair trade cafes. These, along with
venues that we publicise as places to meet up for events or
training, are where contractors can meet one another as
well as relevant contacts (such as contract recruiters and
end-clients)

Our Mission
The Jobs Section of the 7C Alliance Discussion Group on
LinkedIn now lists contract opportunities in the UK that have
been referred to, or sourced by, 7C Alliance members and
open for non-members to consider.
Non-members, who are independent IT contractors and
consultants based in the UK, are therefore invited to join
this group to take advantage of such opportunities as well
as openly discuss the market with other IT contractors, IT
contract recruiters and IT training companies

The 7C Alliance Blog
The 7C Alliance blog has become a popular way of
keeping members and supporters of 7C Alliance informed
of all activities that we are up to - including regular LITCAM
and new Job Search Analysis Week (Job SAW) events.
Members are now have their own Blog IDs and are
beginning to blog their own views of the market as well as
promote themselves to the wider IT and Business
communities at large.
